My Beliefs
For too long, Arizona has had to deal with Republican representatives that say they will represent the voters, but then, ultimately, serve their own agenda and special interests. I grew tired of seeing such rampant dishonesty and that is why I'm running for the Senate.
PRO-LIFE
Every human life deserves to be protected, especially the most vulnerable among us, the unborn.
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS
Our right to free speech, freedom of religion, the right to bear arms, and medical freedom are sacred. As stated in the Declaration of Independence, and secured by both the U.S. Constitution and the Arizona State Constitution, government powers "...are established to protect and maintain individual rights." (NO mandates)
BORDER SECURITY
We have a crisis at our southern border that has overwhelmed our resources and continues to cause a crisis in our neighborhoods. We need to immediately secure our border and protect Arizonans.
SCHOOL CHOICE
Parents need to be in charge of their child's education. Our schools need to be smaller and more responsive to the needs of students and parents. Funding should follow the student and be directed to the school of their choice.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
Having served for 27 years as a Mesa Police Officer, I support law enforcement and empowering them to use all means within their constitutional authority to protect Arizonans. They need proper leadership, funding, staffing, training, and equipment to effectively enforce the laws of Arizona.
ELECTION INTEGRITY
We cannot achieve fair and honest representation without fair and honest elections. It is one of our greatest responsibilities to safeguard the integrity of our elections in order to protect our representative form of government, and uphold the idea of a government "...of the people, by the people, for the people."
ECONOMY - ARIZONA FIRST
“A rising tide lifts all boats” - We need to keep taxes low, limit government spending, and reduce government regulations. Many of the newcomers to our state are coming from California, and they are fleeing the burdensome taxes and overregulation of their businesses. Government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers, and should allow the free market to flourish without forcing costly and unrealistic policies that typically only hurt middle- and low-income earners. We also need to secure water and energy resources for our rapid growth, but we must accomplish this using good policies that make sense for Arizonans and keep these resources affordable. I support the America First policies put in place by President Donald J. Trump, and I will bring an Arizona First perspective to the State Senate.
